A topping, lighting, and LST question
i just topped my plant last night and she hasnt showed any signs of slowed growth which is rad...anyway wanted to know if when you top the plant with the 2 new shoots become the two new stems or will the old cut stem split into 2 and grow that way...there are shoots right under where i cut that have grown about a half inch in 8-10 hours but not much seems to be going on with the stem.....also I have all my red spectrum cfl's (168 watts worth) surrounding the outside of the plantm like a square around em and ive got my blue spectrum (108 watts worth above the plant) is this a good idea or should i just put em all on top...i only got about 2.5 ft of room for the plant since the dwc bucket takes up about a foot so the bushier the better......also can I top the plant and use LST or is that just overkill.

those 2 shoots growing up from just below where you made your cut are your new plant tops. shoots will NOT start to grow from where you made your cut that top will just kinda heal over.
LST or bending is always a better option to topping in my option

but does it make any sense to top and then use LST?
