Another lighting question for all you pros

ok so im using about 17000 lumens of cfls for veg and flower....im about 3 weeks into veg and just topped the plant.....anyway was wondering, ive been on about a 22/2 light cycle and was wonering if i could just switch it back up to 24/0...the plant looks great but figured i could shorten veg period by switching up to 24....

really a longer break with out light would be best like 20/4 or 18/6
a little down time gives the plants some transition time to make the changes they need check it out in the FAQ section.
