Very Faint red line

Hello, Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been a daily smoker for about 2 years. I'm 5' 11'' and weigh about 165 pounds. I recently got accepted for a really sick job as long as i can pass a standard pre-employment drug test. I stopped for about 10 days and had a slip up where i smoked twice. Since then I've been clean for about 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks I've been working out almost every day and have lost about 10 pounds (down from 175). At the two week mark, i took a CVS first check marijuana test and i got the dark control line and a VERY faint red line. The box says that any line regardless of the intensity means your negative. I still have another 2 weeks before i have to get tested. I was wondering if a very faint red line is still a red flag to the tester and will they still count that as a fail. I know i still have more time before my test but I'm very paranoid ( and I'm not even high). I'm just looking for any suggestions or knowledge about these home tests. Or would a small amount of dilution be necessary. Thank you for your suggestions.

I don't know if it helps, but my husband took one of those tests...line came out faint (I was freaking out, because to a woman, two lines means positive!! ha ha) and he passed his urine test.

He had been 'not smoking' for about 9 days....probably has a high metabolism.

That seems like plenty of time to me! Especially with all that weight you lost, I wouldn't worry! I have been clean for exactly 7 days...I'm 5'6, 129 pounds, and I've been drinking tons of water, cranberry juice and some detox junk from the health store...and I just passed my at home test. I have been smoking for YEARS about 3 or 4 times a week usually...not huge quantities, but enough. I'm probably going to test again at home...but I have heard that if you pass the home test, you're golden. My only suggestion, if you want to be 100% sure that you're clean, is test the very first morning pee, it's the most saturated. Granted you can drink before your test, so even if you fail that one you still have a chance.

i haven't smoked in three days and i just passed a home test. I'm 5'7" and 135 pounds, and i exercise a lot, so maybe that has something to do with it. i just hope these tests are right; i didn't think i had a chance to be clean after only 3 days!

You should use the first void of the day b/c it is the dirtiest. This is a better measure. It also helps that you are 5'7" and 135. Skinny people tend to get clean faster than obese people.
