Feeling alone among the masses

Do you ever feel insignificant? Like you're just a ant among billions of other ants? It's a dog-eat-dog world out there... it's survival. Sure u have friends and family but they too are just trying to thrive on earth aswell. You either sink or swim. The world doesn't care if you "succeed" or "fail".

We wake up each and everyday, get in are cars and join the never ending rat race are highways are packed...and just like when u put a bunch of rats in a small cage they begin to fight with each other. People can be evil.. I'm such a loveing person. I'd give the shirt off my back if you asked for it. That's why I smoke pot...to get away from humanity.

I just cant keep up...with all these people...all this hate and suffering trying to survive on this rock.

Do u ever feel alone among billions?

Actually, I was at work today, just moving in a haze. As people enter and exit I have to greet them and shit with "Hi, how are you today?" and "Have a nice day!" Well, I was just chillin watching people come in and out, and I would say that to each person.

I felt like such a robot. It makes me sad :(

But also, sometimes I wonder if I am god, and that I am stuck in a game that I put myself in, and when I die, I'll be back in the staging room with my god-minions, laughing about the game. "I cant believe your guy masterbated so much this time!"

Then sometimes I wonder if this is all a test and that everybody is really one consciousness plotting against me. Like it's a big movie and everyone is playing their part against me. At the end, all the players come out for a curtain call.

In other words, sometimes I think, It might JUST be me

I feel you on the loving thing. People are crazy assholes. So much pain. Thats why I hope its all not real. The suffering is just an act to make you play the game correctly, so you are vested in it.

LS420 - - You're right man, we ARE alone. We ARE an ant among the masses. In the grand scheme of things, us as individuals don't matter. We're simply a number. I guess that doesn't sound all too positive or uplifting, but you push on. Just live the best life you can, while you can. But I think you meant to say that "society" doesn't care if you succeed or fail, because I for one would hope that there are more like-minded individuals out there. It just might take some searching. Find people to care about, and just be h a p p y . I also don't think you should be smoking to hide from it all. Use weed to come together. :hippy: Connect with others like yourself, who might need a little help seeing the light.

Of course not. Because I'm surrounded by billions of people.

Billions of people who, just like me, think everyone else is the problem.

Billions of people who wonder why humanity has such potential for violence while they themself are a peaceful and easygoing individual.

Billions of people who realise that if everyone else just got "it", then we could all live in perfect harmony.


Then I think, damn, we all just need to get over ourselves already...

Live life now and surround yourself with good people.

I'm a very small part of this world - but im happy. I make a living out of my hobby, im lucky enough to smoke as much weed as i like, i havnt got a partner to spend all my money on, i have a peaceful life. I'm content.

Yeah well you get some people who do like 50 60 70 hours a week or w.e and they are basically in work every single fucking day or most days just so they can make a living and pay bills etc if you think about it we are all born slaves?

Fuck that you shouldnt think of it that way i know sometimes it may feel like your a small part of this world well its the same with everything you have to make your way to the top..

Money makes the world go round and there are lots of ways to get money you know what i mean like odd jobs and stuff tbh im stoned ill shut up
