i kno that neither is "great" but what is better tin foil or white walls? :rastasmoke:

tin foil reflects heat, so... mylar or white walls.

Tin foil can also create hot spots, which can burn your leaves. Matt white or Flat white walls can be a great alternative to mylar! This would be my 2nd choice over mylar. :) You're looking for a evenly distributed reflective GLOW as opposed to a shiny reflectivity. Plus, white walls are easier to "work with" and clean...and they look better in pictures. :D

I've heard white vinyl also works well if you are unable to paint the walls. Is that accurate?

I use white plastic, works pretty well, flat white paint is great too

well i have simi gloss white walls is that better than tin foil i used most of my budget on lights and timers

Flat white paint
Panda film (white side out of course)
Tinfoil is not good, don't even think about it.
I prefer Panda Film over mylar... when mylar gets dirty, you might as well just be using tinfoil for how inefficient it is! Panda is very very easy to keep clean and bright.

so the simi gloss also is not an option??????/
