Need Legal Advice

Last night my mom caught me smoking for the second or third time thus far. Fortunately, she is well aware of the propoganda surrounding the herb and how beneficial it can be (to a certain extent). Her main issue is the legality of it (I live in the Southern California) but has agreed to have a talk about it with my dad and I. I sense a chance of approval on the basis of being safe legally. Their main concerns are how I'm getting it (getting caught during a deal, etc.) and it being in the house. Anyone knowledgeable in the law, your wisdom, would be GREATLY appreciated. Please don't allow me to lose my expanded conciousness and connection with Divine Spirit.:rasta:

alright, in san diego under 28 grams is a simple posession ticket. Most police in SD look the other way with small amounts of weed. They are more worried about meth, coke and other narcotics.

You can use the argument, i smoke at home so i dont have to go out in public and do it and risk trouble.

Also, if for some reason you had a small amount of weed hidden in your room and the police did come search your house, it would be really hard to impossible for your parents to get in any trouble. They could just say they didn't know as long as your not growing or have any sort of quantity or have bongs sitting around the house.

Do what I do: I bought a cheap lock box at Walmart for under $5. It's metal, and has a key. Make sure the keys are with you, or in a spot where only you can find em.

yeah, then your mom sees the box and says..."BILLY, WHATS IN THE BOX. OPEN IT OR ELSE."


And if mom weanted to, you think a $5 metal box would keep anyone out that wanted to get in?

It's not that I want to hide things from my parents. Instead I want to be able to convince them that they are allowing their intuative to be hidden in their unconcious, which is encoded to instinctively know that as their son I have the divine/natural right to pursue anything that may enhance my life for the better. Unfortunately, years of propoganda has disabled them from feeling at ease about the "sense of well-being" cannabis may induce. I however, view this sense of well-being as are bodies operating on equalibrium, and in perfect harmony. No need for further knowledge as to the extent of the law, Marijuana Law Reform - NORML has provided me with all I need. It'd be nice however, for this site to display our rights in context with it's "facts" about cannabis.:rasta:
