carrot

I usually toss a carrot into a bag and leave it for a few days before throwing the carrot away. I thought this was a pretty common thing to do, but a friend saw me do that when I got a new bag and he'd never heard of it.

Do other people toss a chunck of carrot in a bag?

i've heard of oranges or apple slices in a bag...not carrots

It moistens the pot evenly and fluffs it up. The moistened pot burns more slowly. That's why I do it.

As for apples, they tend to get yucky fast. A carrot just dries out after several days.

Damn I have to try that (with mids 1st).

i've used orange peels, which works great when you leave your bag open and it drys out or if i get some shitty dry compressed shit...but i really don't know if there is any advantage other than it looking like its the freshie fresh...
