Did you put a post like this down in the Louisiana forum? You'll be more likely to get a specific geographical response down there. (I know Louisiana is a low activity state forum. I posted in there last month and still haven't had a reply.)

Originally from there, but Baton Rouge instead of New Orleans, actually, and my ancestors were from north Louisiana and only went to Baton Rouge to go to LSU.
