ive been takin some pill that says AISA 36 on it, i read it was for ADD and i was wondering if it shows up on drug tests
By the way, the pill is Concerta
If its medical u shuld be fine if not i dunno. i got introuble with that shit.
They basically only test for illegal drugs.
If you have a legal prescription for it you will be ok. Some drug tests will test for prescription drugs, whoever said they don't is wrong.
Concerta is Methylphenidate (Ritalin) but in an extended release formula. I was on it for a month and it was the worst month of my recent life. I had little to no libido and bad mood swings...my poor girlfriend haha. I'm now on Adderall and use it only when I need to actually study.
It's not tested for in the standard drug test, but if you're applying at any medical job they'll probably test you. (Erowid Methylphenidate (Ritalin) Vault : Drug Tests)
Also, don't take pills if you don't know what they are and you don't know how to dose it.
it will show up on the test but if you are taking it by prescription though there is normally something on the application where you write down any prescription medicine you are on. you shoudlnt have anything to worry about if you arent abusing it. either way it shows up though i think as amphetamines and then had you not put it down they do another test to narrow down which one it is
Methylphenidate is somewhat similar in structure and effect to Amphetamine, but it won't show a positive for Amphetamines on a test.Quote:
