omg hahaha my grandfather could have gotten medical marijuana.

Funniest thing I've heard all day. I was with my family celebrating easter, and somehow we got into a medical discussion. So 9 years ago my grandfather had open heart surgery and ever since then he's been taking medication to help him out and stuff.

He still takes tests and other medical procedures to see if everything is fine. At his last appointment which was 2 weeks ago, the doctor told my uncle (who goes with my grandfather every time) if he would accept to take 2 joints every day.

My grandfather refused and so did my uncle.

We ended up joking about it and saying how we could start selling the medical weed and shit.

Hahaha, it was a good easter.

sounds like a pretty funny easter. if my grandpa was still alive i'm pretty sure that he would accept the medical. lol.

you know, that's acutallly encouraging... i mean 20 years ago... you'd never hear a doctor actually suggesting weed... even today it'd be rare to have a doctor suggest it.. there are alot who will ok it if you ask perhaps... but to suggest it?

could you get it for back pain ? ive had it for a while because im so tall and just my fucked up bone structure.. marijuana makes me forget about the pain for some reason.. it works verry well and if i were to ask a doctor id be afraid he would like tell me off or something lmao "get out of my hospital" (that will never happen but u know what i mean)

first you must live in a state that has medical marijuana program in place... next you have to find a doctor that will prescribe it.... i dunno how hard or easy that is... but i'm sure it's not like some impossible task...

but i'm pretty sure you would qualify, depending on how severe and well documented your pain is...

canada and the pain is evryday.. the only time i dont feal it is when i smoke:( im 18 though so i have 2 wait a year ?

oh well, shit i dunno about canada, but from what i heard, you ain't gotta worry about shit compared to the states lol... :p

i've heard of most people in canada just beign let go... in the states (tx, one of the worst states to do anything 'wrong' in) i got arrested, fined over 1,000$, suspended liscense (i didn't even have) for 6 months, spent a night in jail, have to take a drug class to get my liscense and pay high risk insurance...

Smokealot, go over to Treatingyourself.com . It is a Canadian medical site (they accept members worldwide, though) and has good people there who will advise you. Finding a Canadian doctor to sign off on your prescription is the hard part, plus the legal paperwork is a drag- California is SO much easier! If you were in California, I could tell you what to do to get "California legal" (really simple if you have a legit medical problem), but you're not.
