Help Spots!! fert questiosns...
Ok I'm using Expert Gardner Organin mix, with upto 3mo fertilizer... the ratios are 6-9-6. I started my plants about 10days ago and one is looking fine, another is turning yellow a bit at the tips, and another is developing spots...there is 4 of them all on the lowest set of leaves about halfway into the leaf...
I looked around and on the faq someone had posted a bunch of stuff about ferts...and it looked like my plant was having some deficiences (red stems, yellow leaves)
so my next step was to check the ph....it was way fucking high (around 8ish) so i went and bought some bottled water (i was just using our tap) and flushed my soil.
I'm assuming that it was mostly a ph problem, as i heard somewhere that a messed up ph means that your plant won't be able to absorb the nutrients in the soil.... anyone know if this is true?
also should i go ahead and put some fert in? did flushing the soil flush the nutes also? and if so what ratio's do ya'll recomend? i heard that organic herbs tastes better than herbs with ferts anybody have personal experience?
Help me get rid of these spots as I need to start flowerin this week
:wtf:

i'm not an expert, but i think your plant is far too young to have any nutes at all; just feed it water, and check the ph. btw: if you're using tap water, put your tap water into a bucket and let it sit for awhile before you water, this will help release chlorine from the water
oh, perhaps you haven't used nutes yet; well, i'm outa answers then; someone with more knowledge will help you out

i havent put any nutes in the soil outside of whats already in.
.06% nitrogen
.09% phosphate
.06% potash (k2O)

Yea 10 days is too soon to be fertilizing your plant...that thing is tiny!!! I usually wait till about 2-3 weeks, although its just an intsinct by this point w/ me, I just ''feel its the right time" haha, but anyways, the fertilizer you're using is the wrong balance anyways, in the veg stage you want something high in Nitrogen (the first number.. N-P-K remember?) and something high in Phosphorus once in flower (the second number)...the chlorosis and necrosis you're experiencing is probably just the burn from the early fert's and wrong balance....hope this helps
