most efficient flouro
what are the most efficient fluorescents, for both veg and flower? cfl? flouro tube? t5?
it's looking more and more likely that i'll do a single growroom, and it will have to be all flouro because of heat and extremely poor airflow
it's a closet, and i'm thinking a couple t5 setups with perhaps 4 tubes might be the trick. would use just one when plants are young, and start using two when they grow up and flower
where is a good place to get high-efficiency flouro tube setups? i was looking at discount hydro, but unsure of what to buy
this is a 3'deep, 6'tall (up to 8ft if needed) 9ft wide closet, though i'll mylar-off part of it depending on how much room i need. i won't be able to rig intake and exhaust, just a few circulation fans inside, so i think hps is out; especially since when i'm flowering it will be the hottest of summer, though it rarely gets over 75F here; the closet cannot be left open, but most be closed always when i'm not in there working
anyway, appreciate the help; i want to buy my lights so i can get started
electricity is the issue; small appt and don't want my rates to hike too much. will only probably have 2-3 plants at best, possibly only 1

I would use a 105w CFL that puts out 6,900 lumens. Use 3 of those for 20,700 lumens and it will cost you $105 from
105 Watt Compact Fluorescent
If you don't have $105 to drop on lights, you could always to go Home Depot or Lowe's and buy 3 42w warm CFLs ($10 each, 2000 lumens each) and then buy 3 cool 30w CFLs ($5 each and 1100 lumens each).
If you enclose your space with mylar, that you can easily do it. I would check out the Rubbermaid grow boxes. You could just use one of those and put it in your closet. You could do an enlarged version with a larger tub.

most efficient flouro
the T5HO's seem to be the winner here, with as much as 92lumens per watt. now that's impressive, beating out metal halide. this is a much bigger deal than folks realize it seems
