Hello,
It is not such a good idea to bury the stem. It can lead to stem rot.
Maybe though, if you very lightly score the stem (vertically) where it will be buried, and apply some rooting hormone, I am thinking that it would just root out from that spot and all would be fine.
You may want to wait for a few more answers though.
Happy Holidays.
Peace
thanks it was worth asking what kind of root stimulant do you suggest?
I actually disagree, if it is not constantly soacked nothing will happen, and without hormone it will root up intill it hits air, usually on larger plants you will see roots coming out of the stem, through the air, and then into the medium.
Hello,
Nice, thanks for jumping in and helping to clear that up. I was not quite sure.
Happy Holidays.
Peace
SHIT SHIT SHIT!!! i had to to do an emegancey transplant!!
one of my babies was stretched pretty bad i had to prop it up with sticks to keep it from falling over GOD DAMN!! she finaly fell down on herself and i mean like twin tower style :( *crys like a bitch* i transplanted all may plants into bigger jugs i got from walmart for like 10 bucks. and inorder to keep her up right i planted some of the stem too she was about 8 inches tall and after the transplant shes about 5. i wantered the soil good and droped the lights anouther 4 inches so the distance from plant to light is 1/2 an inch now this REALLY sucks because i wanted to wait till i got a higher powered light i will keep you all posted for updates on how she turns out
may the 5 gods of the leaf help us all!
