hey not sure where to post this or if anyone could help but looking for info on laws regulations ect for opening a coffee shop in amsterdam?? thanks :rastasmoke:

its not as easy as moving over there and opening up a buisness. Unless your Dutch or part of the European Union your going to have a tuff time moving over there and getting a job.

i'am part of the eu an i realise this must seem very noob but it came up in conversation just wanted to find out figured this be the best place.

Well in my opinion, the chances of you opening a coffee shop in 'dam are slim to none.

Just think how many people thought and are thinking the same thing, and if everyone managed to do it Amsterdam would be overflowing with coffee shops. I think the coffee shops that are there will have been there for a while, and new ones opening would be few and far between....but thats just what I think
I can imagine it would be one of the hardest businesses to open over there, you would have more chance opening a fish market or something.

oh i realise this is complete pipe dream but no one actually can tell me when talkin bout it ages ago which started me thinking of it me an my friends basically said the same as you az666 but we didnt know for sure. Ive tried searching it just "amsterdam" comes up in convo so much its hard to filter lol

if ur trying to open a coffee shop where people can toke up then im just gonna say forget your dreams cause it aint never happening.
