Hello Ishybody
Hello, I used to post here on cann.com under another user name (which has since escaped me) a good 5 or 6 years ago, when it seemed like a man named "METHLAB" was the god of all knowledge. Back then I was just a smoker, but I have taken this big step, and have been growing for the past month. They are doing reasonably well, but I more or less neglected to remember that I am going out of the states in just over 5 weeks. I know two months isnt much to try and let a plant reach maturity, but I would like to be able to do it, as I am likely going to have to clear out the cabinet they are in. Anyways, I've read about putting a plant onto 11/13 in an attempt to get it through flowering faster, but does anyone have a rough estimate of how long that would take (on average)? And also, do more drastic flowering light cycles work? I'm not too worried about the yield, as these are just bagseed, and I took a bunch of clones which are in a sep cab that I'm having someone watch over (wouldnt be the end of the world even if something happened). Thanks for any info that I'm sure you guys will give; I've attempted to researcht his, but was never able to find any sort of timeframe.

Hello Ishybody
I forgot, I am using cfl's, but am willing to make a trip to Lowe's tomorow if HPS or MH lights flower faster. My grow space is approx 2'x3' and almost 5' high and I am only growing 6 plants currently (still have yet to weed out the males).

Hello Ishybody
Sorry man but there really aren't any shortcuts to gardening. If there were we'd all be using them! 5 weeks isn't long enough to get anything of value so if I were you I'd be searching for a good home for them with the agreement of getting a full share in return when they're harvested.

Hello Ishybody
Damn, sorry to not answer the previous message, but I don't really have access to my digi camera, as its at my parents house... I've heard previously that an 11/13 light cycle speeds up the flowering period some... I was just kinda wondering how much, or if anyone has experimented with shorter "days." I was thinking maybe have a light cycle of like 10/10? Idk, I thought I had read something about it, but I'm not sure where. O well, I guess I'm gonna have to find a home for my babies, maybe.

Hello Ishybody
Just in case anyone was wondering, I found some information on the topic, over at Advanced Nutrients Medical - 6 hrs 40 mins ON 12 hrs Off I put my plants on a similar schedule, and am awaiting results. Its been a few days of this, and I'm seeing plenty of pistals on two of my plants. Thanks for reading, or taking the time out of your day to reply. Wish me luck.
P.S. My clones probably aren't gonna make it; fuck powdered rooting horomones.
