5-HTP is ok with me

In case you don't know what 5-HTP is, it's a precursor to seratonin (found most commonly in the form of tryptophan, which is converted into tryptamine [seratonin 5-HT])

Anyone ever give it a try? I just bought some from Walgreens... took 200mg an hour ago, took another 200mg right now to see what would happen.

It's no big deal, I feel a bit more positive than usual I suppose, but a bit less coherant as well (increased seratonin basically hightens senses, as seratonin plays a major role in mood regulation, sensory input, etc). I'm looking forward to sleeping right now, as 5-HTP is know to induce rather vivid dreams. Hopefully they don't turn out to be vivd nightmares :eek:

I take it after I roll or trip. I find it makes the comedowns silky smooth and I feel better the following days.

You smoke in combination with it yet?

Nope, I haven't had any weed in a long while :(. Once I get some I'm definately gonna take them both together... I hear it makes the high differant, and in certain ways, better.
