Theres a few fuck ups like that in the Simpsons, like Wiggam has black hair for some episodes, and blue for others.

you'll notice when you watch the really early episodes a good number of the characters look different.

Yeah, you can see as the years went on the animation got better, and some of the voices changed abit.
