Crazy Sh*t that happened to me!

A extremely similar situation to the thread "Just About Peed Myself" happened to me last Friday. It was the first day of Spring Break. I wake up around 6PM after finally getting some sleep after being up for 3 days on energy drinks and load up a bowl, and smoke it. My computer chair, is right next to my window, and every now and then I look out my window just to see if anyone is there or something. I just finish smoking my first bowl, and I'm just starting to get blazed and feeling good about the day, etc... when I decide to check out the window. I live in a subdivision by the way.

I look out my window, and there is a fucking cop car parked right in front of my yard. In front of MY yard, not my neighbors. It's getting out of his car. My parents had just left to go to New York, so I was home alone. The most extreme paranoia creeps over me. I quickly close the blinds as I don't want him to see me looking at him, and I plan on not answering the door obviously. I freak out because I just smoked a bowl, and my room reeks of weed (the strain I had, when smoked, the smoke was very strong smelling). I had an ounce that I had just got, and then a few buds left from my amazing weed. I also had seeds germinating in my closet, in a huge pot, underneath CFLs. That's the first thing I did. Ripped up the germinating seeds, and flushed them down the toilet. Then I remembered that more than an ounce is not a misdemeanor but a felony in my state.

(By the way the events stated in the last paragraph all took place within 30 seconds, I was working FAST). I was freaking out, because my room smelled like weed, and I had been selling 1/8ths to select friends at the time, and had just picked up an ounce. My mom was in new york, and I felt like I was doomed. I imagined that in a few hours, I'd be in a place like on MTV Juvies. I imagined all the charges, and the fact that I'm a minor, and that my mom could get in trouble as well. Possession of over 30 grams, possible dealing charge, possible cultivating charge! I was honestly freaking the hell out. I hid my bowls in random rooms in random places, while my dogs were barking like crazy. I turned down my music so maybe the cop would think no one was home, because my music was loud. Now that I destroyed the seeds, took down the lights in my closet, and removed the pots (because that stuff is suspicious to have in a closet), and hid my bowls, I acted fast, and ate my last buds of my good weed. I normally wouldn't have done that, but I was convinced that they would enter my home, and find my weed, and I didn't want more than an ounce because that's a felony, so I ate those buds. I then went into my mom's room, and hid in her closet, while waiting for something to happen. I get the phone and I call my mom and start crying hysterically I tell her what's going on, and I tell her I need to get out of there. So she arranges for family friends to pick me up to take me to their town which is an hour away, in order to escape from the situation. I stay in the closet for a while, freaking out, wondering if they are stil there, because dogs are still barking.

Finally, I look outside and see they are gone. I have a much needed cigarette. I actually had a few much needed cigarettes. I pack up all my things in order to leave town. I decide not to attempt to grow until I am in california and have a medical license as it's not worth the risks in a state where it's illegal. I also decide never to sell 8ths again, because in my mind I'm thinking that the cops were there because they knew I had just smoked, or had dealt a few 8ths to a few select close friends.

I get to the "safe town" where I spend a few days. I finally go back home. Anyway, no cops have returned or anything..

My mom gets back from her vacation, and talks to the neighbors and mentions something like "Sorry the cops where here, my son tells me... he must have had his music up too loud", and the neighbor is like "Oh I'm so embarassed... The cops where here because my daughter (who's like 2) called 911"

As I stated at the beginning of the post, I live in a subdivision, and it's not uncommon for cars to park in front of your yard, if there isn't room for them to park at your neighbors. But, at the time, I was high, and illegal activities were happening at my house, so I assumed they were there because of me. After all, they were parked in front of my house.

So, sorry it's so long, but I just wanted to share my story. The lesson that I learned from this is, that if the cops were at my house, they couldn't come in without my mom being there, since I'm a minor. I didn't know that at the time.

I also learned not to grow until I live in california, and have a medical license, so if a cop shows up, I don't have to immediatly freak out and destroy my plants, or risk prosecution. I also learned to be extra carfeul about things such as having paraphanalia lying around the house in random places, where if the cop would have entered, would have seen.

Good story. I had an experience where me and my friend were smoking in my car, in a more rural part of the city. It's a place where cops have rarely been seen, so it *was* a good place. Well, thanks to my friend, since he told me to roll down my window so we wouldn't smell like weed as much. We did it, and not 5 minutes later, a cop car is driving by! Obviously our car being parked there is a bit suspicious, since hardly anyone parks there, even though it's an entrance to a park where nobody ever goes. Well, the cop stopped briefly. Then he simply leaves. Well, 3 hours later we were coming down, so we went back to smoke. We doubted the cop would be there again... but to our surprise, the _SAME_ cop drove by, and ALMOST did the same routine. We vented out my car just in the knick of time, because he actually came up and confronted us. He thought we were there for 3-4 hours. He was shining the light in my eyes, and I mean the big one that is attached to the car. Along with that, he walked up to my car shining a small flashlight in my face. I was scared, because I was blazed as fuck, and was sure that my eyes would be a complete giveaway. But it wasn't, he just asked us if we were drinking alcohol, and if we were over 17. My friend thought that he thought we were sodomizing eachother for 3-4 hours, which is why he asked if we were over 17 (we are both over 17, so if we were gay and were buttfucking eachother in a gravel parking lot in the country for no apparent reason, it would have been completely legal!). Such a close call... but good thing anything under 25 grams here is considered a misdemeanor nowadays (this is a recent change in the law here in Madison, WI), so we would have just ended up with a ticket.

Good story man, I know the feeling of paranoia, but...No offense, you totally overreacted. It's not like the cop could do anything unless he saw you with a joint in your hand when you answered the door or if he had a search warrant. I also doubt they'd waste the time to get a search warrant unless they thought it was going to be a big bust, and even if they did get one, they would most likely send more than just one officer. You would have been fine just not answering the door and acting like you weren't home, it's not like it's illegal to not answer the door...

I would feel so stupid after that....After all...look how you reacted to such a simple situation. You would have no clue what that cop was doing.

that was pretty silly. That's why I keep telling my roommate we need to get our medical license cause its just too easy! After all we live in CA where it is practically legal so there is no reason not to except for stupidity.

We had done some serious tailgating at the Notre Dame game the day before and had a trunk full of winecoolers left over. so my brother and 4 of our buddies decide to drive to the sand dunes on lake Michigan and drink them, to see if we can get drunk. So we do that and not suprisingly, get drunk. driving back to indiana one of my buddies says to the driver "i bet you can't get your car to 100" and being woos the driver floored it.
the car didn't quite get to 100 before a county brownie bulls in behind lights flashing...
the cop walks up and says "hand over the drugs"
"excus-what? officer?"
"i said give me the fucking drugs, do you want me to get the dogs?"
"well uh-okay. here you go"
so in the car there is 1/2oz of shrooms, and 5/8ths of nug, 1/8th of which being some super bomb, and 3pipes.
we give the cop a 1/4 of nugs and one of the pipes. but he dosn't buy it and says that he knows we have more. so we hand him the shrooms and another 8th and pipe. the cop then tells us that he knows we are drunk and that if he ever see's us in his county again he's going to arrest us on the spot. then he turn and walked back to his car.
if i remember right we had commited 10 felonys and could've been looking at some SERIOUS time.
