the title was ment to say new kind of scrog but i pressed return by mistake! my bad!

For each surface of glass you loose 10-15% light
Then you loose some more for the thickness of glass.
So from the get go you have lost at least 25% of the light.
let them grow and bend them over.
pot is real easy to grow in any direction, I have even grown it in circles , just to see if it could be done.
You can buy glass substrates that are more efficent but cost around $ 1000.00 or more per square foot. Plus the cost of non reflective coating add a 250- $1000.

25% that sounds rather high? after all... you can get cool tubes and air cooled shades with a layer of glass between the lamp and the plants. Plus if you bend them early uv got less space. if they were turned when the grower knows there female he/she can grow twice as much. :)
