Hehehe, well think about animals man...We hang them on hooks and slice them open to drain all of their blood. Oh and we make sure they stay alive as long as possible during the process too!
well, its all pleasure for me,
Also, if plants can feel pain, I'd say vegitarians would be worse than I am =P
Ohh, man...how can you say that? "That's Agh!...That's Agh!"Quote:

If you are worried about them feeling pain...just think of how many times you've cut yourself or burned your finger on the lighter...or your lip on the lighter...or burned half of your face off almost trying to light a roach...
...that is their sweet revenge. :weedpoke:

No they don't. My Sister-in-law is a lab tech at a maple leaf hog plant. The hogs and electrocuted across the head. They are out before they can feel a thing. Then a giant needle plunges into their heart sucking all the blood out at once, killing them and removing the blood at the same time. There is no pain and the utmost care is taken not to scare the animals before 0 time, both because it's humane and because stress can cause rapid horomone release which make the meat taste worse.Quote:

Hmm.. If they could feel pain, who would stop smoking? I'd have to seriously consider it.. :|

And cfvgcfvg, hehe man I was being completely sarcastic, just pointing out old ways of doing things. I know we are more evolved nowadays...but we still treated animals like shit for many many centuries!
Thanks for the info though :)
that last thread on about you kill animals without pain , wow sure they dont feel, now the plants , i guess on a spiritual(speliing!?) level they may feel something, hehehe stonned out of mi mind........
"but we still treated animals like shit for many many centuries!"
Actually we still do, probably now more than ever. The killing portion is more humane, but the way they are treated the rest of their lives is often appalling.
Chickens are cooped up in, well, coops that are so small they fight with each other causing serious damage with their beaks, so industrial farms use heated blades and cut off the beaks to prevent this. Cows are given terrible horomones to make them give more milk (only where officials are stupid enough to allow this, USA) that cause horrible side effects. Pigs are put in stalls not much bigger than themselves, and basically can't move their entire lives.
I feel a little less guilty by buying meat directly from farmers that free range their non-GM, horomone free animals.
