Slim in my bubble tote :wtf:

Good day people! Ok here it is ,10 plants,18 hours of light, 1 one thousand watt hps, light mover, 30gallon tote , air pump, four airstones, and a heater , my Ec was at 250, ph 5.8 for the first two week and everthing was doing fine roots popin everywhere , then i switched out my water.... my new batch i had the Ec set at about 550 600 ph was the same 5.8 then i retuned the next morning to find that there was slim all over the roots , kinda like snot but really white/clear looking,it was all over the air stone's air lines .... this is not my first attemp at this that last one went And went well!!!!! any help would be GRRrreat! tHanX

Hey northernbudmen...hello to a fellow "Great White Northern"...I have had the problem that you speak of...The Slim. What are your water temps? My slim came to me when my water temp went to high. Try to change your water and lower the temp. You can freeze 2 liter bottles of h2o and drop them in your res or bucket to lower the temp. Also I have heard of people using hydrogen proxide to combat this problem. I use Hyrdozyme and have not tried HP for this problem. The Hyrdozyme works great at keeping the roots clean and white.
