Gardening!!! (not about weed)

So John and I decided we wanted to start a garden for the summer. So we picked out this HUGE thing of land and we began to dig and take off ALL of the grass, rocks, etc. So weve been doing this for 2 days and im SOOOOO sore and I looked it up on the activity calculator and I learned that you burn 950 some calories if you do it for 2 hours. THIS IS WONDERFUL considering that weve been doing it for HOURS and HOURS on end. This is great! What a great excercise!!!!! Plus it will be a whole summer time activity. That means major calories burned! WOOOOO!! Sorry its random, i just thought id share. Besides its a great hobby and I feel really accomplished afterward..

and just think, in a few months, you can satisfy your muchies with home grown garden veggies (i looooove cukes :D)

oooh me too! were growing all sorts of shit too, im in charge of the flowers (daisys, lavender, all sorts of shit) and Johns doing everything else (cucumbers, watermellon, tobbacco, salvia, and other shit)...were probably growing about 25 different types of stuff. Its rewarding!

I dig that :thumbsup: I once planted a tomato seed inside (During the winter) and by the time spring came around it was huge. So I planted it and it got really crazy big with huge tomatoes. Don't like tomatoes much so I never took any of them :greenthumb:

thats cool... one time I grew a tomatoe plant and when it was ready to be picked I smoked a joint next to my tomatoe plant and then I ate the 6 tomatoes I waited for , for like 3 months lol and ate them all in one salad lol.... ( they were small tomatoes but the fucking plant was like 5 foot lol)

Nothing like making a salad from the garden... Keep it organic!!!

Half my balcony is tomatoes, catnip (for my cat), strawberries, and a few herbs, for both eating andf smoking. ;)

Well right now it isn't as I just germinated the seeds, but I plan on having 4 baby tomato plants, 2 strawberry pots, 1 catnip plant, 1 basil/parsley/chives. All in pots, not the ground.

I do it every year and I love it.
