But yeah weedhound, I think ornamental chickens are about the most ridiculous animal on Earth and the only reason I go to the county fair every year is to laugh at them.

This is a dude I got through work.....was living with another crowd of chickens (obviously below his standing) outside of a restaurant and the other roosters were kicking the crap out of him probably because he was so gay looking. Still gay looking but now nasty as hell....spurred a friend of mine smack in the forehead one day (AFTER she was warned not to stick her face down there :D )

Yeah my friend still has a teeny little round scar....I was working at a vet hospital and had had a rooster....love the crowing sound in the morning...really! We had lost our boy and had the word out for a rooster needing a home. Someone at work ate at this restaurant where apparently people regularly dump off unwanted chickens. Don't ask me why....I've never eaten there....but they had a flock of them that would just run around out back. At some point this new guy appeared....spurless then cause too young--another dump I'm sure but the "in-house" crowd hated him.....the hairdo would be my first guess. There was a sign in the restaurant Free Rooster so they went out back, caught him up and.....

My workmates kind of warned me when I came to get him.....now...he's different looking...don't be scared.....I didn't even know they made a bizarre chicken like that The curly one (do you know the names of those?) was another "chicken needing home"
