The Gateways of Hell Have Been Opened

So pretty much everything that could have gone wrong between me and my parents just happened. They had my phone because they took it away that day since I was up really late the night before on a school night. They saw some texts from my girlfriend related to sex and we just had it last Sunday. We have only been together two weeks and a half. I'm still recovering from the conversation we just had with them pretty much telling me she's a whore and everything. I have no idea what to think about her anymore because everything's just a big clusterfuck now. They also saw a text from me to one of my buddies about buying some green so they know I smoke weed now. I told them I haven't since the weekend before last and I told them how I don't drink as often because its bad for me. They really only seem to care about the issue with my girlfriend. I want to prompt a conversation with them about the weed issue because I've been wanting to see what they think. Pretty much all they said was, well you can't be doing that because of your school and drug tests and I told them I passed mine and it was fine. Then my mom tried to compare me to my uncle who's a complete fuckup and smokes weed, but I said mom some people just can't handle drugs like him. My parents really can't talk shit about me smoking because A. I have a pretty good GPA(3.1,A's & B's) and B. My stepdad was a pothead for a while.
So as of now I'm going to have to quit everything, break up with my girlfriend too I suppose because shit's just too fucked up now to even think of going back. I always had a weird feeling about this relationship anyway(my first girlfriend). I have no intention of giving up on weed, even if it means taking a break for a while. I know weed has not interfered with my life in any negative way. So as for now I guess I just need to sit back and see what else unfolds.

i wish i had one, i just got done talking with my mom about weed again and pretty much I dont think she really has that bad an image of it she just kept saying you can't keep smoking weed you just can't. She didn't give me a reason and she just said you cant and expect me to give you a car and stuff. So I just said I'd quit so I'll make them beleive i'm quitting. I will never really quit though because I know weed doesn't affect me negatively and isn't bad for me and nothing can ever change my opinion.

Dude, sometmes you just have to say fuck it, who cares what they think and trust your gut. Are you going out with Christie the cock gobbler or Mary mother of god? Hopefully she falls somewhere in between, too far either way never turns out good. Atleast they didn't catch you pullin' out and dropping a load on her chest, then they'd be REALLY pissed.

As others have said its not going to be good if you tell them that you quit and then later on they catch you smoking, or even suspect that you are high. Now they know you do it and will be watching how you act and if your eyes are clear.

Now about the girlfriend thing. Why would you break up with her? Because your parents are upset that you are having sex? I could understand if you were 13 or something but if you over 16 it shouldnt be that big of a deal. Not to many kids wait anymore. I hope your using protection too thats very important.

Now about the parents going through your phone. Im guessing that they pay the cell bill. I may be wrong but if not thats just tough shit. Your living under their roof and using something that they are paying for you. Thats just how it goes when you live at home. Their house their rules. You have no such thing as privacy in your parents home especially if you are under 18. Just start using codes instead of weed use something like home work. Do you have any home work tonight? No but I should have tomorrow night. Wanna come over and study together. Things like that. Text messages are just like letters and when I was at home I learned my lesson about writting letters. Never do and if you do destroy them because you will get careless and your parents will find out. My parents found mine and it was not a fun day when they pulled them out and read them to me out loud.

Hang in there dood. You're not harming anyone (as long as you use protection and don't drive high). Parents are from a differnt generation and simply don't understand certain things. A lot of older people would say homosexuality is wrong, but that doesn't make it so.

Try to be respectful to your parents, use common sense, and keep thinking for yourself. When I was a teenager, I got caught smoking and my dad went through the roof. But time passed, I stayed out of trouble, and things are fine ... and I still smoke weed. ;)
