i thought second season was worse than first, too much family bitching, more serious than funny not as light hearted as the first. i guess a lot of people like watching family members bitch at each other on tv shows because it is more frequent all the time but i just dont.

its definately worth watching.
as for when it comes back, they start filming again in april, and it probably won't start playing until august.

just watched the last episode; meh, i'm over this series; i watched the entire first two seasons in the last couple days.

one thing that bugs me is that nancy's range of expression is totally not there. she looks spaced all the time like she's on prozac or something. acting not so up to par


uncle andy was cool, but lost his mojo; kat was very cool; as most shows do, it started getting repetitive, recycled, and straining for plot points

nancy is a spaced out chick with nothing much there other than forced emotions; oldest son is meh, youngest is pretty cool

best character by far is david nealen who is better than i've ever seen him as the loose-ethics pot smoking laid back accountant. he's great

i'm tired of nancy though. she really just seems drunk and on anti-depressants, just a glossy, fake-emotion character. i don't get what they're going for with her, but i don't feel connected to her



oh, and "you can't miss the bear" is by far the funniest thing in the entire show, and that was the first episode. still, that goes up there with some of the great comedy catch-phrases in my book. love it; tried to make it my screen saver, but its' too long so i stuck with "don't panic" which is an entirely different level of greatness :) and all stoners should know that one, from a very trippy book

everything starts to feel recycled after a time. i can't think of one show that didn't perhaps the first season of 24, kept being new till the end



clearly, this show gets a big boost since it's about ganja; and they did a pretty solid job overall of being accurate; i think it would be fun to point out weed-misconceptions in this show though

1. their hydroponic system didn't seem to have any drainage

Well they guys that made the show are directors, not marijuana growers lol. They tried to get it as similar to real grow op's as possible. Honestly I'm very impressed with how far they've come compared to other movie grow ops. Like in How High, those plants didn't look real at all. The buds looked dried and and shit and they were still growing from plant. Even the buds looked like real weed. So grow op wasn't 100% there but they were very accurate which made it not that big of an issue.

My lady also likes the show, we got through both seasons in 2 weeks. It's the kind of show that you yearn for when you're not watching it.

Kinda like Heroes for me. or The Office (funniest show ever). sometimes lost, but not so much anymore.

It is sad that shows become unoriginal and formulaic. I suppose it's hard to keep cranking out the plot. But I feel Heroes has potential to sustain its greatness into next season, maybe beyond.

The Office is a winner in my book too. I'm really excited about the next season (4), and I in the past I thought it would be tired out by now.

I have enjoyed this show since the first season. Nancy kicks ass. Although, I kinda liked it better when Nancy was growing. Seeing a tiny bit of our "secret hobby" on TV was very cool. The show is called weeds and I hope it stays centered on that subject and not so much on subplots.
