Hmmm..caution, as always, dude..:)
but...many a true word spoken in jest ;) ("She even jokingly said 'I'll smoke with you!'")
do some research on the medical side - for you (and your mum's) peace of mind.

Good luck, and keep it real..:)

I don't know... I used to smoked with my ex girls mom all that time... it was weird as shit at first but i eventually realized it was the coolest situation i could ever be in... especially since she always had pot... I think you should offer it to her, if she says yes than thats cool as shit cuz you could smoke and not be paranoid about shit at the house you know?>!!!! Offer it to her and see what happens i guess???!!!

i don't know for sure, but she probly wasn't joking, bring her a joint of somthing realy good and some literature on medical pot, if she used to smoke she wont be hard to convince. i used to smoke with my mom, (she was a paranoid scizo.) from 16 till i was about 19 when i moved out. anyway what state do you live in? try and get her legal, if she diagnosed manic dep. she needs medical weed, and any pot-doctor will give it to her, and then you can be her caregiver and grow bud for her (there are obvios binifits to being a "grower")

Some also say that marijuana causes permanent brain damage and turns you into a woman, that masturbating causes blindness and hairy palms, and that being gay causes God to angrily infect you with AIDS.

oh yeah, budman probly has a serios phycological issue, pot has never actualy been found to cause any mental dissorders, including deppresion...of-course not having pot makes any heavy pot-smoker sad, but that is differant than deppresion......

smokin pot doesn't cause depression, getting it taken away does

Nobody can say for sure if weed will help your mom's condition, but it might bring you two a lot closer! Or, it could tear you two apart. Make sure she would really be okay with you asking her to smoke with her. It sounds like she'd be okay with it, but you can never tell. Maybe first ask as a hypothetical first.
I wish I could smoke with my mom, but my parents would kill me if they even knew I smoked. Snoop used to smoke and drink with his mom (of course that's not very surprising), and many of my friends smoke with their moms too. I'm so jealous :p

I would be in the hole if my mom found out. She never will though because I don't live at home with her. I know that she was around it alot when she was younger. She "says" that she never tried it but I wonder.

I'd say next time the conversation turns that way, go with it...
