ugh.... caught...

So I'm usually really good about hiding my weed in my room and always locking my door when ever I get it out. Well tonight I started rolling 2 joints in my room and I locked my door. I finished rolling them, put them both away. Unlocked my door and realized I left my grinder out. Took out the box where everything is hidden, and bam... my mom knocks on the door and opens right up...


Wish me luck, shes talking to my dad right now... Oh boy, only the 2nd time ever caught...

yeah, the third or fourth time i got caught, they tossed my wood pipe, but i found it the next day, so i still have it:D

Ok, so heres how it went down... My brother and sister also smoke a lot of pot, and my parents know it... But they are also older then me... like 19 and 22... So I think my parents know I'm going to too so they didnt really go that hard on me. They told me that they couldnt believe it and a lot of other shit.. All in all they took my 2 little joints :S4: but i can definetly live with that... Im not grounded or anything and this morning they are acting like nothing happened last night... :yippee: ill be toking by friday...

I think the second time you get busted is the worst, at least it was for me. Because the first time I lied and said I'd never do it again if it would keep them off my back. So when they saw the plant in my closet they fucking flipped!

man, how do you all get caught so much?! when i was young and living at my parents house i NEVER would have even attempted to keep weed or pipes or anything in the house but i still smoked every weekend. I just hung out with kids who kept their own stashes and then made sure i was around when they smoked and threw em a couple bucks for smoking me up, it worked PERFECTLY, they never even had a clue.

By like the 5th time you get caught it gets a bit easier, lol. I actually told my mom I would quit for a little to make her happy since I've been getting in trouble at school alot recently (most of the time its not even my fault, just stupid teachers).

One time I got caught and my mom took my pipe, my dad came out and took it from her saying "don't look for this, I'm going to break it" then later he showed me he saved it and put it in my drawer for me :D

I find it best to tell them you'll never quit so at least you aren't lying to them, and tell them its not as bad as they think. The only real argument parents have against it is that its illegal, and they are looking out for your best interest so they don't want you to get in trouble for it.

Both my parents have lightened up a lot about it as time went on, my dad wasn't real cool with it at first, but now he doesn't care. Hes seen me smoke before too.

I started toking my junior year of high school. I managed to never get caught while I was still living at home, and later on when I was about 21 I told my mother I smoked. Having been a teen in the late 1960's, she was totally cool with it. She told me not to tell my dad though, as he is completely anti-drug (I'm happy to say he's beginning to change his stance these days because of the way medical marijuana patients are being treated). She also told me to be careful and only buy from people I knew and could trust. Within a year of telling her we shared a joint one evening when she came to visit me. It was a great bonding experience, and really helped our relationship. She was so strict with me growing up that I felt a lot of antipathy for her for a long time because I felt like I had missed out on a lot of stuff as a child. When I went through a nasty divorce a couple of years ago, was really depressed, and had very little money she actually gave me some cash specifically so I could buy some weed to help me get through everything. Sometimes parents freak out over marijuana, but sometimes they surprise you with unexpected compassion and understanding.
