1st try at scrog speaker cab

so im gonna try one or two small plants so the training time would take less but thinking of using a 70watt hps security lamp that i rewire an a cpl cfls i painted the inside flat white will have a computer fan on the back next to the light ill make a cool tube if needed hopefully will bestarted with this once i get cloning down its been tuff but the latest try is looking good at day 2 which is when they usually start to look bad

what are you going to do about the smell, or do u have to worrie about it.. i am trying to find a soloution to the active carbon filter because i dont have money to drop on a 100+ fan

dont really have to worry but if i do i have those plug in odor eaters they work pretty good i heard the stuff at petsmart that kills animla odor is good to kkep next o the cab or inside

yea!! got a 70 hps last night and wired up a ballast now i think im gonna put plexiglass between the bulb and the buds so i can use a fan to push out all the heat form only the top

hey man you got updated pics, and how high is the wire from the bas of the speaker? i'm loving it, i'm planning on going smaller and doing a grow in a 20" guitar amp lol. good luck man.

hahaha i was gonna post my thread in your thread but then i saw someone posted on here well i think the screen is about 18in high from base of speaker then bout 2 inches between that and the plexiglass and about 4 in the above area im sure it would work in a 20 in amp just make a cool tube an have good vent youll only have to veg for like 3 weeks to fill up your screen good luck with your grow i will post some pics later

i think dry weight around 1 and half ounces should have vegged about a week longer to increase the yeild but oh well first time with a hps next ill have purple urkle in here ill be getting that ready soon

tomorrow week 8 almost there it says strawberry cough is harvest between 8and 9 i can still see the buds growing plenty white hairs left and just about all crystal are cloudy havent found any amber ones im planning on re vegging this plant after this harvest

hey, by the way, i once read an article at cannabis culture that the big fan leaves are one of the reponsible for making the thc glands, i notice that you took the big fan leaves away, so please tell us if you feel any diference on the potency!

the fan leaves just started falling off bout a week ago im thinking ill get and ounce dry ive been checking it out with a magnifying glass the trichomes are so pretty i think i shouild have watered this plant with another feeding of nitrogen a cpl weeks back but i think shell be oklie doke should have soe good quality pics soon once my friend comes and showsm me how to use this camera he let me borrow also ill go take pics of my friends outdoor garden we have a clone off this plant out in his back yard in bout a 3 foot hole with peat moss steer manure and some of his compost

i got impatient so its more of a lst but it will be more scrog next time ill be vegging it longer the dimensions are... ill get back to that so i pulled off about 3.8 wet weight of some buds that looked close to done i pulled off the screen too and let some buds get a bit closer to the light ill post some pics soon hopefully under a week itll all be chopped up and back on 24 hrs to re veg

so i pulled about half the plant sry no pics right now but got bout 10 grams dried and its onl been curing but it its really smooth smoke i think cuz it was getting only water for almost 2 weeks its really crystally bud i like it alot so do others that have smoked it

so i'm trying to get some knowledge in before my first grow. is the only point to a screen is to make it lower, having only the buds rise above and through the screen? thats what it seems like to me.

also, you said the box had a height of 24"? what are the other dimensions? im trying to figure out how many i should fit in a 2.5' x 1.5' x 3'

dimensions are 27in h 11in d 14in w i got pics of when i harvested first and one of how its looking since its so crystally wish i wouldnt have gotten impatient but kinda glad i did its been so dry here looking for lots a bud bout 5 days only been curing that stuff or bout 4 days starting to taste delicouss


the last 2 are what we are flowering in the desk at the moment its a unknown bagseed with pink hairs pretty awesome kinda smells skunky like our last desk plant hope its good we got a clone for a mother outside if so
