I thought of this when i was buzzin, but it's great...
and yes i asked myself the question.
ok, so lets say you had a choice between life and death
what would you choose?
all people i asked laughed and said i'd rather live...
so this is where i get to the other part of what i was thinkin
if you choose to live, is it because you want to see life?
or is it cause you fear death?...
what do you say?
(and sorry if you've heard this from somewhere before
if so, i didn't mean to steal it lol... thanks[/b]

i know this is an old post but i found it and like it... hope you are still subscribed to it...
i would choose life, not because i fear death though i have many questions about it, but because i absolutely love life. sure there are difficult aspects but there is just so much love to be given, experienced, and shared that it is all worth it.

2 weeks ago, i would have jumpped to chose death.
now, i cant say that, now, i have a life i can enjoy, or wort toward enjoying...
it took 10 years, but my life is finally picking up, and although i have a truly deep curiosity as to what it is to die, i want to live, and enjoy my life with the one i love.

I don't really think it matters what you prefer, but you should always choose life. While we don't know what will happen after death, we do know that you have a lot of time to experience it once you die. Life, on the other hand, is limited to around 70 or so years of healthy living.
Whether or not you do not like life, you might as well live it out because life is short while death is inevitable and infinite in length.

well... as we gonna die regardless anything, your question should be stated as:
"do you prefer die right now or some time (who knows how much) later?"
i choose to live. i will die anyway, so why hasten it?

I'm almost with PTS on this one. I chose to die figuratively, then to live with great passion once I regained my spiritual seating.
btw, Eve's a hottie!!!

If you were talking about reincarnation, that wont work to well. You start in your new life where you left off in your last.

Nah, I was talking about walking in a dead head state, and dying to that state, and finding a spiritual path. I DO belive in reincarnation, tho.

"Without the hatred, where's the light? Without the darkness, where's the love?" ~Dave Matthews
let me ask... without death, what would life be? in Lord of the Rings the gift that god gave to humans was death, as all the immortals had to live life never being rid of the pain felt and horror seen. death gave that reprieve to the humans...

Both, I want to live and see and experience all that I can, but I do also fear death, like most people I think. Well maybe we dont actually fear death but we fear how death will come.
