Need A Lil Help

Herez the deal, im usin LimeWire to download music. i need ta burn a cd an i have half ov the songz az mp3 becuz they are older, but the other half, the onez i downloaded on limewire, are m3u format. Now i used ta alwayz juss run thru the list an rename all the filez adding ".mp3" on the end an that wood change it. i tried this an burned a cd but the cocksucker aint workin. only the old songz play on my cd player, not the new onez. how the fuck do i change the shitz to mp3? any help iz appreciated thx.
