Here's the deal

My veg room right now has about ohhh 80 plants I'd say, in 1 gallon pots of pro mix. I'm using DNF nutrients, recommended dosage with every second watering, I water basically every third day. I have 2 1000w HPS lights about 30 inches above the canopy. My temps are a little high as all my fan resources are currently in my budding room.. My temps are generally around 92-95 when the lights are on.. I don't really have the money to buy more fans, all that I have in that room is an oscillating fan above the canopy. We leave the door to the room open and blow the osciallating fan from the fresh air outside into the room, there is also a small window in the room that is open a crack to let a bit of cold outside air into the room.

We moved the seedlings from fluroescents to the HPS's on Feb 3rd and repotted them into 1 gallon pots on Feb 21st..

The plants right now are about 18 inches tall and we're about to put them into flowering in the next couple of days. The problem is I'm noticing quite a few leaves on these plants are starting to turn yellow or have some brown spots as the picture indicates.. They only started to do this in the past week..

Could somebody tell me why these might be doing this all of a sudden?? The canopy is pretty dense and it is mostly on the fan leaves but it is happening on some of the top leaves too..

You have 80 plants, 2kws ...and not enough money to buy extraction fans? That's your first problem right there. I'm half-tempted to say you're joking, but whatever. Anyway, you probably have a Mg lock out causing a deficiency. Do a search for Plant Abuse Chart and you'll find stuff to help.

Cal-mag or epsom salt will increase your Mg...but you have to have proper pH.

Once you make it that far...who knows. With that setup...I'll be surprise to see you make it to harvest...without a horrible case of hermies and a pollinated grow room. Good luck. Your name says it all. ;)

Do some studying, fix up your grow room...and better luck next time.

Ya I know, my buddy who set up that room in the basement (I rent the basement to him) is stupid and doesn't think he needs to spend money on fans.. I keep telling him but he won't listen.. My setup has intake and exhaust fans with 3 1000w hps's.. oh well, he'll learn I suppose.. So is heat the problem with that room? How does a MG deficiency occur??
