View Full Version : humidity
hi
How do people keep the humidity at 50-60%, do people use a Humidifier, the trouble i have is that if i use a Humidifier it seems to get sucked out of the room when exchanging the air to keep it fresh. Mine seems to always be at 30%.
Any ideas how to bring it up?
thank you

Soak a good size towel and drape it over something that will suspend it. Anything you can use to introduce moisture into the environment. Some people set plain old buckets of water in their grow rooms either works pretty good beware of molding though. I have the exact opposite problem I need to dehumidify my grow room.....

How often do you exhause?
I helped a guy last week who has the same problem as you.
We picked up a small cool mister and piped the output with 4" dryer vent pipe to his input fan so there was a mist comming in that way. He had a small plastic fan we used. Water and electricity don't play well together so watch out for that. You can bring in the vent just infront of your fan that way the fan it's self will only push the air away.
