depends

I prefer female seeds so that I don't have to kill half later. In that case any of the early varieties from female seeds , maroc, purple, easy sativa. Make sure you purchase a type that will be ready by October. Educate yourself over at seed boutiques's site and make sure your selection specifies an early outdoor finish time. If you have indoor skills, you can place female clones outdoors as well.

cindy 99 is a well regarded outdoor variety that will finish in time for your area as well

I'm going with Early Misty this year. Nirvana has it for $15 per pack. I havn't tried growing it before but I know it's pretty powerful.

Hey

My experience outside is that early strains avoid mold better than so called mold resistant ones. just my 02

I'm growing outdoors here in New York as well... I hope everything works out for you and you grow some good stuff.

What part of New York are you in; northern, central, or southern? Just wondering.
