Rock has lost another icon of the 70s. Brad Delp, lead singer of Boston, passed away, too early at the age of 55. RIP Brad, you will never be forgotten. I'm going to go put on Boston and smoke one.

Brad Delp, the lead singer for the rock band Boston, was found dead on Friday in his home in Atkinson, N.H. The Associated Press reported that a police spokesman said Mr. Delp apparently died alone and that there was no indication of foul play. The cause of death is under investigation and a report is to be released Monday, The A.P. reported. Mr. Delp was 55.

Carry Me Away

"Day is night in New York City
Smoke, like water, runs inside
Steel idle trees to pity
Every living things that's died

Gonna hitch a ride
Head for the other side
Leave it all behind
Never change my mind
Gonna sail away
Sun lights another day
Freedom on my mind
Carry me away for the last time
Oh yeah

Life is like the coldest winter
People freeze the tears I cry
Words of hail their minds are into
I've got to crack this ice and fly

Gonna hitch a ride
Head for the other side
Leave it all behind
Never change my mind
Gonna sail away
Sun lights another day
Freedom on my mind
Carry me away for the last time
Oh yeah

Gonna hitch a ride
Head for the other side
Leave it all behind
Never change my mind
Gonna sail away
Sun lights another day
Freedom on my mind
Carry me away for the last time
Oh yeah "

Thanks for the music!

As fucked as this may sound, I could care less. I consider them one of the most annoying bands in history, tied with Journey.

I consider them one of the most annoying bands too, but it still sucks when somebody from the music community dies.

By the way: OLD NEWS - He died last Friday

Their 1st and 2nd albums were great. I lost track of them after that.

They are def over played on the classic rock stations but they were much better than Journey.

I once boo'd Journey when they were opening up for Pink Floyd in Salzburg circa "Animals" tour.

Can you believe that shit? Those 2 on the same ticket?
