$250 worth

So as I've stated on another of my forums, I was going to get a brick of weed for $250.

We didn't get a weight, the guy just showed us with his hands how much weed we were gonna get and I was so damned skeptical cause he showed us about the size of a brick.

Well....all I have to say it is a LOT!

I measure it all, had to do it little by little cause my scale is small.

We added it all up and it came out to be 3.95 ounces.

I almost freaked out when my roommate added it all up.

So I popped some into our magic bullet, making sure not to make it almost into powder like last night and made my first blunt.

It seems better quality than what we usually get, so that's even more a treat.

Spaced out typing this last bit cause I'm already high out of 4 hits from my bubbler.

Well I didn't mean bricked, I meant more like it was compacted into a brick shape.

It's some pretty good shit. About the same as our regular guy if not more.

Got a story that just happened.

My two roommates and I smoked each a joint, then we shared a blunt made outta a Sweesher Sweet.

By the time we were almost done with the blunt, we noticed the room was VERY VERY smokey.

We were surprised by how much smoke we got going so we called the other roommate (who doesn't smoke.)

Then we heard him come out and say out loud "Dude, is something burning?"

That's when we realized one of the roommates (who was smoking) forgot the butter he was warming up for stakes and it got smoke ALL OVeR the apartment and both rooms.

We blamed the straight roommate a bit cause...well...he wasn't high and didn't notice it. (his room was as smokey as ours)

His response: "I was like "Wait, I don't smoke blunts""

Man, I would cook up 3.5 ounces in some food and sell some brownies or eatable treats. Smoke the remainding half ounce. Even if you don't sell, eating it will be far pleasureable than choking down some not-so-great smoke.

Not a bad price though. It looks like it's been kiff'ed though, as in, had the trichs shook from the buds. By the pictures, they are lacking "sugar"

A QP of shagg weed here goes for about $200 a QP, or $50 an ounce, no wait, that was back in Alberta. Here in BC now, I haven't seen or heard of any brick.

I prefer kind buds. Good flavour, nice stone. Like a wine enthusiest drinking fine wine. Not drinking bum wine that goes for $4 a liter. :p

Brick is brick. That weed, like all brick, looks like it was beaten with an ugly stick, but frankly, if you're going to smoke commercially grown weed, brick is the way to go.

The compression keeps the moisture in (which makes it smoke better) - I bet when you broke that open it smelled really nice. Considering brick usually goes through a lot of hands and sits around in trucks and warehouses in all manner of temperature fluctuations and so on, the compression keeps the insides of brick fresh (ish).

I have known snobs who hate brick and refuse to buy it but if you're going to buy mid-grade weed, I still say that's the way to go. If indeed that was 4 ounces, I'd say you got a good deal. That could be some good day to day smokin' herb.

The bricking process compacts things in such a way that you can't really tell much about its potency by looking at it. I've occasionally been very surprised by brick.

From the moment that I was handed the bag they gave it to me in I could smell it. It smelled really fresh and really strong, a really nice smell.

The car smelled all the way back home, part of the reason why I actually drove at the speed limit.

The moment we got home and opened the bag, the smell was doubled.

I knew it was gonna be decent because it was a lighter green. instead of a sun dried kind of green.

And it's a very good day to day smoking herb. I've saved a lot of money, because if I smoked like this from my first dealer I'd spend about 100 bucks in 2 days.
