ive stopped smoking since last wed. march 7th. and have been drinkin alot of water and some vitamin water as well. ive played hockey for about 6 hours (3 hours each day wed and saturday) i took a test kit on friday and came up positive. i was planning on taking another tomrrw morning b4 i went in but im still uneasy about passing.
my smoking history was tues nite about 10 hits out of a volcano vaporizer and wed i smoked a bowl before hockey. is there anything i could try and clear my system with in the next 20 hours to maybe lower my risk of being positive?

Nothing will cvlean you out quicker except exercise, but you should stop that 3-5 days before the test. Drinking lots of fluids only works on the day of the test. That is called dilution. Read the sticky. What is your smoking history before Tues and Wednesday? Go back about 60 days.

i play hockey and, sorry to redirect a post youre looking for more positive info for, but woohoo for hockey!
what position do you play?
right wing here. easier to slam those slapshots into the goalies face, as far as being right handed goes.

Test-n-Klean comes in drops and capsules, partner took before her test and she passed with flying colors, she's an everyday smoker and stayed clean 3 days prior, took capsules and drops, maybe this will help, just a thought.

ill try looking where i could get testnklean...im going in less than 3 hours now so im just drinking like a camel.
as for hockey, yes its great and i play defense and offense. i enjoy right wing best in ice hockey though.

took a test kit before i went and i passed. so in a few days ill know if the lab had the same results.

Why would you want to stop the exercise 3-5 days before the test? Sorry about the random bump and random question, but this intrigued me. Is it just because after that it won't be helpful, or does it actually have negative effects?

THC is stored in fat tissue. Exercise helps to increase the turnover of fat cells. This is one of the few things that can help your body eliminate THC metabolites more quickly. These extra metabolites will eventually leave your body via urine and feces. On the day of your test you don't want your body eliminating THC metabolites at a higher rate because they will end up in the specimen cup. So most people recommend that you get lazy the few days leading up to the test. You wouldn't want to go workout in the morning of the drug test, start burning through fat cells, increase THC elimination, then go give a sample. You want to slow the elimination down on the day of the test by not exercising.

Ah, I understand. I didn't consider that the source by which you are forcing the THC out is also the source by which you are tested. Thank you!
