View Full Version : Guess my Yield...

I started out with 20 plants, but after severe over fertilization and sexing I am left with one female. She was the biggest plant and the most healthy the whole time. Right now shes about 3.5 weeks into flowering, and 2 inches shy of 3 feet tall.

At first I thought with one plant I'd be lucky to get an ounce. But shes growing in kind of a cool way. Her bottom branches were able to stick out since she has no other plants cramping her and the buds on the bottom branches seem to be developing just as much as the top. So Im thinking my yield potential went up with this growth pattern.

Also, I originally thought she was indica dominant due to the fatter early leaves but now Im thinking shes a pretty even blend of sativa and indica.

Here are is a pic if anyone can help me estimate my yield and sativa/indica dominance. Ill try to upload more later.

No guesses? Oh well.

I guess I didn't check on her yesterday and shes really droopy today. I just gave her some water and hopefully she'll livin up again before I go to bed. She looks awful now, that happened fast.

Well if anyone cares to take a guess at what my yield will be, I'd be real appreciative.

well yeild depends on a bunch of things.. like for instance what size pots u have, what kinda light(looks like hps), how many watts, hows ur airflow, whats the temps like, what kind of nutes are you using, and lastly what breed is it, those are some major factors.. also any guesses would be just that.. a guess no one will be able to tell you how much to expect..
but i can give you a word of advice i would reccomend not spraying your plant while in the flowering stage.. it can help mold and fungus grow on your beautiful buds..nd im sure u dont want that...
best of luck..

yeah pullin a 1/4 lb off one plant is a little exaggerated, id say.. about 1 1/2 oz but i still gotta know what type of light etc, etc...

i guess an ounce. maybe 1 1/2 if she's a real producer.

but yeah like the other folks were saying yield depends on many many factors.

Yeah I guess I sould of included some spes on my grow. Its under a 400w HPS with 3 gallons of medium. When I started I hadn't really read to much on here, so I planted in Miracle-Gro 3 month feed potting soil. I've been afraid to add other nutes because I was using a rooting hormone in vegging and lost alot of plants to over fertilization.

Do you think I'd be safe using some sort of bloom boost or anything at this point in the game?

Thanks for all the help thus far. I do understand its just a guess. And I appreciate all of your input.

I'd say if you get 2 dried/manicured you did awesome for a tree that doesn't look like it was topped at all

POT and haze know they're stuff I'd say POT is right on with the finished yield and and haze's estimate of 3-4 is right given ideal conditions

In theory if grown and trimmed correctly having more plants only increases the yield a little bit but it allows you to cycle quicker cause no topping 4 plants will fill out similar to 1 tree that was topped 3 or 4 times and tied down etc

I'm fairly aggressive with manicuring cause I figure why bother smokin leaves and gettin more crap in my lungs than I need and I got 2z's stemless/leafless from 2 plants

I'd say you're probably fine to add bloom boost even a double dose if the miracle grow has some won't kill your girl

As for more nutes I'd water with very weak solutions at first and gradually move up depending on how she responds cause I've never used the time release soil feeders

If the soil noted it was designed for tomatoes I'd say you'll probably be fine cause I think they eat even more than mary j

Well the harvest has long since been over. And unfortunately I had no means of weighing it, and had to dry and manicure it in a hurry. (had to move) All I know is we managed to roll about 45 decent size joints.

Which I feel was pretty damn good for the one tree we had. Learned alot and I am eager to get started again with bubble buckets.

Take it easy, :hippy: Will
