Yeah I have to agree that Gladiator was much better. 300 was okay, but if you've seen the trailer for it, you've pretty much seen all the action in the movie. They took this epic battle and turned it into a weak little skirmish. I mean 300 spartans and thousands of Greek allies fought for 3 days to hold of the invading Persians, but that fighting lasts like 10 minutes in the movie. What a let down! I know it's based on Frank Miller's graphic novel and not the real battle, but come on. They should have called it 40, because I never did see more than 40 spartans in that movie.

If anyone here wants to read a book about the Battle of Thermopylae that you won't be able to put down, read Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield. It is about as true a written acount of the battle as you can get from a work of fiction and you will laugh at the movie 300 after reading what hoplite warfare was really like.:)

Yea lol, any of you guys noticed that with all the blood splattering all over no blood wuz on the floor? it wuz like in grand theft auto or something it just evaporated. That movie was pure graphics and had alot more flaws:smokin: but it wuz still all good
