if you're growing hydroponically, does it smell up the place less?
how do hydroponics work, anyway?

To answer your question the smell from a plant is somewhat indicitive of health so if you grow a healthy plant (usually hydro can grow them atleast as big if not bigger) so yer probably lookin at the same smell if not more...usually the smell really ramps up once they start showing their sex good luck absurdity

PS mine are a month old and they stink bad already I had to break down and buy a filter to control it...

Most plants will put off a strong smell week 6 to finish.
