Ok so I am just starting to look into indoor growing. Before I go out and buy anything, I would like to know if these lights that I found where any good at all. I am a bit short on cash so if they could work, please let me know... here they are...

I have a 100 watt light... http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/2448/lamp2pw2.jpg

I have a 5.0 UVB flourescent light.. dont know if its important or not but the code on it is F1518/IL ... http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/6741/lamp1yg0.jpg

And I have a 500 watt t-3 lamp... will any of these work?

Lots of great reading in the "search" section.

Almost everything you need to get started can be found there.

best of luck

that 100 watt incandescant will not do anything for you.

DO NOT use the first light (100W) it does not have a ballast and will not produce a wide enough spread for your plants. Trust me I have tried to use this type before.

Your second light the fluorescent will only be suitable for clones and newborn seedlings. After that your plants will stretch and begin to yellow as they are not receiving enough light.

Your last lamp the t-3 500w would be best if you are to use any, but from what I understand these are older less efficient lights used for homes. You would be best off getting some CFL's if you are low on cash.
