Decriminalize=You can get a ticket. No jail time. Misdemeanor. Cops might not even bother hassling you about it.
Legalize=Weed is as legal as cigarettes probably. You can buy(probably age restricted),sell, and possess.

Decriminalize means that it's only a misdemeanor - meaning no jail time, even though it's still illegal. However, even in states where marijuana is decriminalized, selling it, or having large quantities is still a felony, and you can go to jail.

Legalizing means it's legal! If marijuana were legalized, it would be like alcohol - legal to buy, sell, and use, although there would be restrictions on age, smoking in public, and driving while under the influence of marijuana (again, like alcohol).

Decriminilizing is an okay start, but the legalization, regulation and taxation of marijuana is what we should all fight for...educate people about...and eventually it will happen. All drugs need to be legalized. Check out:

decriminalize. i dont trust our capitalist government to regulate marijuana. i can imagine it becoming an over-taxed, exploited, industrialized cash crop of low quality.
i cherish maryjane too much to abandon it to unpassionate, filthy hands only interested in profit...

aha! excellent point.
i just fear the privatization of maryjane. i dont trust the quality and passion to remain intact when it becomes a cash crop.

Think about this though: If it were legalized, you could buy seeds and grow your own. :)

But you dont have to worry about shit, unless your parents dont want you doing it, if it were legalized, Also you can do that now matt but you could be sentenced up to 10 yrs in jail, which sucks some bigass balls..

Even if it were legalized, it means the government would screw w/ shit, maybe all the company's would put shit in it to give you cancer, so i would just grow my own

If it were legal it would be like tobacco, the joints sold in 10 packs but with shit weed and chemicals at gas stations. Then at specialty shops you could buy the dank, organic, holy stuff.
