Just about to go out and get my supplys.

Its my first grow and im growing lowryder in a closet and I have been advised to use a normal potting soil but im not sure do I still need to buy vermiculite and pearlite?

you can add perlite, maybe up to 30%. Try potting soil without any nutes in it.

Look for "Fox Farms Ocean Forest"

This soil has a perfect balance of everything you will need. Vermiculite, Perlite, Guana, etc etc etc
