ANOTHER question

im sure you people get these questions all the time and everyone is so helpful. but whats your opinion on light cycle? Is it better to go 24hrs on or 18hrs on 6hrs off. I think i read somewhere the plant do better when they get a little sleep. Just wanted to know if anyone has experimented in this derpartment. thanks.

well ive tried both and have not noticed anything different besides the electricty bill........it is easier to leave it on 24/7 so you dont have to buy a timer though:twocents:

Ya but what about when you want to keep the plants in veg for a long time? 24/0 or 18.6

depends on why you are keeping them in veg for a long time if you want fast growth would probably stick with 18/6 if you want slower growth such as a mother plant that you dont need to grow as fast would probably go with 15/9.

I have my plants on 18/6 for a few reasons. 1)the plants preflower faster under this lighting so you can determine sex faster and 2) the electricity bill. 24hrs makes the plant grow a lot faster though. it's really up to you.
