in my town the cops are really crackin down, and we have this place called college hill and like 4 consistent dealers live up that hill, so the cops have been just sittin at different places on the hill and have been pullin people over for "speeding" or "rolling stop" but it really means we saw 3 teens comin off the hill so we pulled you, and if its not a cop with a K9 they call a cop with a K9 and have him bring it and walk around your car. i was just wonderin of that could be considered profiling. ive been bein EXTRA careful when drivin up and down the hill but i was just wonderin if what they are doing is legal.

whether it's profiling or not it is difficult to prove...

thats what i figured. its kind of a small town with about 20 cops if that, so they pretty much know most of us by name cause we had to have a cop in our school for 4 hours a day when i was in high school, so they would see us goin in and out of the office and shit, and now when they see us out they give us hell

That's just considered basic stopping procedure, frankly. It's racial profiling that's against the law, but don't think for a moment that regular suspicious pattern-profiling doesn't come into play in the decisions they're making on College Hill or in any other decisions they make every day. That's just the most basic, routine pull-over procedure based on a what they will claim is simply a random profile with a consistent pattern of potentially suspicious activity.

Just keep your shit home cause you will not win,,,if they got your # they will find a way to win,,,this is what they live for...

You wouldn't be so fast to say that, I'll bet, if you ever needed them to find out who stole your car or save your life if they were the first ones to respond or find and arrest someone who murdered your loved one. They're folks doing a hard, unpopular job. If you want to stick it to anyone, stick it to the laws they're enforcing. That's the real problem.

no if you knew the SAPD you wouldnt be saying that. one day i locked my keys in my car at a gas station and a cop was inside so i asked him if he could help me out and he said "were not allowed to do that" granted there are some kool cops that will help you out, but not in this town. if someone stole my car i would find it before they would
Not all cops are hard workers. Most are fat assholes who like to get their tickets up by busting some teens for no good reason. And they are more likely to arrest us weed smokers cuz we dont go crazy and shit like crack heads.

no. its legal. its no different than setting up a sale with a person and busting the person as soon as the deal is done.

In my city everybody knows Railroad ave is the place to be if you want sex/drugs so if you got stopped by an officer there I don't think it's profiling.

Hey if you can pull it off there is no problem here. Just becuase a cop has a dog means nothing, it can sniff you ass for all it matters, if the officer has no "authority" to search he cannot claim the dog smelled anything. "the k9 unit barked at the car... so we searched for illegal substances." no one will claim it is the officers right, not even a judge, the cop knows that, if you put the pressure on him... it takes it off you. If he mentions anything about drugs... ask him if there is a problem, if he says he wants to search... tell him you need to be somewhere, i dunno you mom called u home, if he says he doesnt believe you and has a k9 unit.... tell him you dont concent to a search repeat the question if there is a problem. If he says he's going to let the dog sniff the car just say no concent to search, if you just mutter ok and he runs the dog around the car and gets a wiff your done becuase u already concented to a search.... Little things save your ass keep it simple and to the stop, there is no need for him to mention dogs or searches if he has no probable cause. and dont keep your sacks somewhere they will stink up the car.
