The FBI has developed a new form of electronic surveillance which remotely activates a mobile telephone's microphone and uses it to eavesdrop on nearby conversations. The technique called a "roving bug" was approved by the justice department for use in criminal investigations.

A district judeg already upheld its legality noting that the eavesdropping technique worked whether the phone was powered on or off.

The ONLY way around this was to remove the batteries from your phone while its not in use.

i know man
its so fucking disgusting why cant we just be left in peace? why do they feel the need to invade our lives and control EVERY aspect?
its not just the white house, its most of the countries in the world. and now its ("it" being modern ways of living) spread way too much and has become integrated into our lives. no feasible human means can change that, and thats what people in power have wanted all along. they are in the home stretch now!
ideally, when i turn 19 i want to get the fuck out of here as soon as i can and move somewhere really nice with my girlfriend. there is no way, absolutely no possibility of me staying in america. america is synonymous with pain greed corruption and lies. thats not what i stand for!

Swirly, I just hit a key that has you re-review our forum rules. Pay close attention to Rule 11 and re-review that if you need to periodically. Even implied threats are not allowed, and you'd be wise not to express that sort of wish against an elected official. That's why your thread was deleted, by the way. You can feel it, and there are acceptable ways to express that. But a public Internet forum is not the ideal place.

I hope i didn't get a warning for that, like a mark against me or anything because i never threatened violence on anyone.

Maybe you need to refresh your self with the context of that particular forum rule. I wasn't threatening anyone, I simply stated that I wish someone would harm someone. I don't see how that could POSSIBLY be construed as a threat according to the definition of threat.

Just seems like you like to nit pick darn it! About as much as I do.

So i cant say that i hope bush dies?

here in england there has been something written up in the papers about the government wanting to put up these cameras that can see beneath your clothes in town and city centres. i think they would work in a simillar way to the new cameras that they have in airports. i doubt they will ever be able to do it though as it would be a total violation of your civil rights. what will they try next, identity chip implants at birth?, enforced sterilisation at 25 to control over population?.

Because republicans would like to hide the very nature of reality and life from us. They would love to make natural drugs illegal and force us to use their artificial drugs; does anyone else realize that when a company makes a new psychomimatic drug it's perverting nature and controlling the evolution of our consciousness?

I love how bush has done coke and weed but doesn't give a shit that people who did the same thing are in prison and will be barred from ever running for an elected office.

Well with the mention of Bush and republicans I thought I'd move this one down here into politics........

By the way....Question??? When someone is, lets say, on the lamb; do you think that they'd keep a low profile or get in the grill of enforcement?

So i cant say that i hope bush dies?

That would be wishing harm on another and expressing that desire publicly!

What you CAN say is, for example....

"Out of all the retards to obtain the title Commander In Chief, only a select few have ever been successfully assasinated, and even fewer have come close to death... I can't help but wonder WHY George W. Bush hasn't had at least an unsuccessful assasination attept."

Something i have definately thought about myself, "Why" that is. I personally would never put myself in that position. I have too much to look forward to! But it's also safe to assume IF someone decided to go through with it ("it" being the assasination of you-know-who), they will be a HERO in prison. MAD desserts for that guy!

That is all i will say on the matter.

Well when someone is falsely accused of something they often enter into the judicial system to sort out what happened.

Sometimes the enforcement branch and the judicial branch are one in the same. Can we say "No checks and balances"

Have a GREAT one!

Do you even remember what you wrote? Because you must be running low on deductive skills if you can't see how "XXX the government. I wish XXX would blow up XXX and kill the little XXX that lives there" might be construed as a threat.

Try talking your way outta that one.

Was something deleted by a mod?

A different mod deleted a post which contained a stupid remark.

I watched a special on TV the other night in which they discussed Presidential death threats on the internet blogs, etc....... These threats ARE taken seriously by the Secret Service and ALL are investigated. THAT is the type of attention we DO NOT need in here; and I'm sure none of you want on your doorstep.

For anyones info regarding the ban.....this person NOW has 12 banned user names in here. Why look when they come to you.........

And i believe this has to do with scum bags like arms dealers, drug runners, and criminal private orginisations like NOBA, not to say that they arn't stomping all over our constitutional rights by invading our right to privacy.
