How long will it take.......

to roll a good joint? Fuck man, it's been 3 joints now and I still suck at it. I know I just gotta practice but how many times does it take?

Ive been rolling joints for like a year, when I started smoking and had no other way of smoking (or just didnt know much about it)

Now I'm good, startin to roll blunts ^^

Well, how are you doing it? by hand? You could buy a roller they cost like 2 dollars. OR! do this..

Excuse how bad i am at explaining things via computer..

Step 1: Grab a dollar bill
Step 2: Fold up one end of the dollar bill so it's rounded (not creased)
umm, side view it woudl look kinda like the letter J
Step 3: But very finely ground weed in the curved part of the dollar bill
Step 4: Roll the weed up and down, try not to spill any out the sides, just put your fingers in the way or sumthing. (This is getting the weed all evened out and roundish
Step 5: Keeping the weed tight in there put the rolling paper right above it, Sticky line facing you and on the top,
Step 6: Just start rolling forward, It will suck the paper down and around the weed, stop rolling when all you see is the sticky strip.
Step 7: Lick the strip, and really fast start rolling it in the same direction, and soo you'll have a perfect joint, just gotta fix the ends.

took me bout a month of rolling a lot. if i didnt have weed, i'd empty the tobacco out of friends cigarettes and practice with that.

i cant do it for some reason. i've seen people do it but for some reason when i try i just dont know how/dont get it right.. thats why i roll blunts instead or hit bongs/bowls/etc. blunts are the best when your sharing IMO.. but anything is sweet to share.. love passing around a bong or bowl too!

It could take weeks, months, even a year or two before you get it down pat.

It took me a long time to roll. I must have rolled a 100 joints/smokes before I got it right.

I learned by hand rolling my own smokes. Not only did it save me money on tobacco, but it gave me good practice without mashing weed over and over trying to roll, so try that. Even if you don't smoke you can roll them for your friends who do smoke.

I've been rolling joints for like a year and i've only been consistently very happy with them for the past 3-4 months.

The first joints I had weren't so good but some of the joints I smoked i just pre rolled them with a pen then packed weed into them, noobish i know. But anyway the key to rolling joints really is your weed. If you have weed that is too dry it is going to burn too fast and probobly be more of a bitch to roll. Also you want to have the weed your smoking nice and grinded up, if you must use your hands like I, make sure there arent any big chuncks or large amounts of shake when you are going to roll because that will mess you up. If you can get some somewhat moist/not bone dry weed and break it up nice and evenly when you start to roll it in the joint it should take shape a lot easier. Make sure the the cylinder you form with the weed by rolling it back and forth is even or else it will be even harder to roll.

I have been rolling j's these last 2 weeks and they all have been very good roles, all by hand. It takes me about 10 mintues to roll one thats good.:jointsmile: I also put filter at the ends of the j's.

i bought a lot of rolling tobacco and just couldn't do it, then i was sitting in my room and realized, its just a fuckin joint i can do, it was seriously like it just came to me and i can do it now

when your moving the paper up and down to get it all even (you really want it packed together)take the part that is closest to you(shouldn't be the sticky) and go really slowly down to were the paper that is closest to you is just above the bud should look like "J" but the bottom part more curved

then use your thumbs or pointer fingers and tuck in the paper over the weed, once it is tucked in start rolling it up slowly and keep on tucking it in once its about 1/4 inch from the glue, lick it and roll it into it

if your having a problem with weed falling out like crazy you might have grinded it to well(happends to me with shit weed cause it don't stick together)

i'd suggest this way and just practice, try to add stuff of your own that you are more confortable with and you should get it
