hey..when im waiting for the seed to sprout do i water the seed or just leave the light on and dont bother it?

Hey m8 did the root already sprout out of seed from papertowel and you planted .Or you just planted and waitng.

it hasnt sprouted yet, i tried to put it in a wet paper towel and put it somewhere dark and warm but the seed didnt sprout so im waiting

Best thing to do i've found, is chuck em in a glass of water and wait a few days.
Make sure they float though.
If they don't float they won't sprout from my experience.
If they all float they all grow a taproot and then chuck em in some soil.

... the papertowel must be wet, at all times, not wet soaking...
its good if you cover them with another papertowel wet as well, and put it in a dark warm please, i have see from my experience that if you try to germinate under the 20°C it dosnt work... and if you try to germinate over the 26°C dosnt work eather... if its over the 30°C the seed dies... somehow... and never sprout...

i use to germinate in a shot glass, with wet cotton in the bottom, i put the seed and cover it with another wet cotton. i put them in my room and 1 day later the seed starts to sprout!
some seeds take up to a week, so be patiente, over a week i had never seen any seed that took more than 7 days...

I've had a seed take up to 15 days to sprout, so give it at least two weeks before you toss it.. as for that floating thing, I might try that myself!

what is the normal growing light cycle when seed's sprout ??

first plant ever grown just went to 12/12 cycle.can anyone tell the sex of this unit yet???

your plants shoud be on a 24 houre light cycle when thay sprout till they bud. and no i can tell you if it is male or female the plant is to young. give it a few weeks. look for littel white hairs (female) balls (male)

Cant tell yet m8. Kinda early to be goin into 12/12.I would at least let it branch out more .But we are all diffrent. Im gonna put this one into 12/12 tonight.Also you need better pics m8.Also reguler light time when it sprouts i usally give it 18/6.Good luck on your crop and hope its female

Damm where you live in Alaska?, LOL, mine have only taken no more then 2-3 days at most.

actually, going directly into budding is OK for small harvests, saw a long thread on it on OG where they got around an ounce a plant. and Das, Alaska is the fast lane, many strains from here, Mindfuck, Tundra, Matanuska Thunderfuck and it goes on.

yo ziggyman go to 18/6 and give at least a month until 12/12
