WHAT ABOUT CAKE?

Okay, I'm completely new to all of this. My friend's b-day is tomorrow and he is a SERIOUS smoker, so I wanted to do something he wouldn't expect. I want to bake him a b-day cake. I've seen all the recipes, but I still have a couple of questions?

1. how come there are no recipies for chocolate cake? I've seen everything from banana bread to meatloaf, but no cake?!?!

2. can i use a box cake mix w/canna butter instead of oil?(it seems easier to make than the oil...i only have a few hours left)

3.i have regular bought from the dealer weed...what do I need to do to it before I can use it? grind it up? remove seeds?

I'm sorry if these seem like stupid questions...but as you can see, I called myself inexperienced!!!

Okay...I decided to just go for it. I read every recipe I could find, and I went with the general theme...I'm an hour in...the house smells like I left a lbs of some really good stuff laying out...its not too bad, but if anyone came to the door, I would be soooo busted....

I'll keep posting...I'm going to finish this cake tonight!
