making a telescope

hey guys i need help, for one of my classes i have to make a telescope.. it doesnt have to be working it just resemble one that looks like this picture... im totally drawin a blank and was hoping maybe you all could help me.. i appreciate it in advance.

get a paper towl roll and a couple of magnifiying glass, or a pair or granny's old eye glasses.

it doesnt have to be perfect, just a rough model of it, i found somethin that said pvc pipe.. and that might be what im gonna do, just wonderin if ne one else had other ideas.. and also where i can get glass lenses for cheap?? that would magnify shit..

PVC is a good idea, and Skink is right, head to the Dollar store and buy a couple of cheap magnifying glasses. Then all you need is a hot glue gun and some paint and you're ready to roll.
