Man, since my divorce 6 years ago I have had no frickin luck hookin up with a chick that I honestly could say I would want to be with long term. I always get the cling ons, or the ones that have baggage they just cant let go of.
I am mid 30s no children and feel like I have a lot to offer. I am very nice looking to. I am visual so attraction is a must. I will never meet a girl on line again. I met this chick from Cali we started off chatting on the net then emailing then the phone calls started. She sent pics and this chick was money. So I thought. I decided to fly her out and when all the passengers had exited the plane and walked by me I never saw her. I was like WTF. So I rolled down to the baggage claim and sure enough there stood this chick probably about a deuce fifty and it was her. I was so pissod that she had lied to me. The pics were like 10 years old that she had sent me. I sent her home crying back to Cali. I dont know if I believe in that shit about it always happens when your not lookin. This is frickin horseshit I am a great catch. Why cant women be more forward and hit on guys. It always seems like its the guy that has to make all the moves. Oh well I guess it will just be Rosie and I with her 5 daughters.

However there are millions of hot girls everywhere. You just have to go out and meet them. It is a numbers game.

Meeting someone locally means you do not have to spend a wad of cash to fly them out to where you are.

I believe honesty and attractiveness are important. But anyone can see that superficial characteristics affects you to a high degree. It's not in me to say if it's bad or good, but if you want a real relationship, it better be about something more than an image.

You say this chick was money? Money how? How she looks? Or how she is on the inside? Or both? I'm only saying if you truly liked her, her deception wouldn't have mattered. You guys are a tough crowd. Look heres the deal, We all look for different things in a partner. Is it wrong for me to want my partner to be attractive? I mean I take care of myself physically fit, eat right, plain and simple I treat my body as the temple that it is. Yeah nobody is perfect duh no brainer and I am not looking for perfection or a barbie doll made out of plastic blah blah, I am just wanting compatibility. With me what you see is what you get both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritualy, yeah I have lied and been deceptive anyone that hasnt may you cast the first stone. When this girl had sent these pictures she was physically attractive to me in those pictures, then as we grew into getting to know one another more intimately I also started to think she was emotionally stable, smart funny and really it was like this was to good to be true. So there were other factors that played into my attraction to this girl. The bottom line is I was lied to. If she was willing to lie to me in the beginning then she will lie again bottom line. Its like when a spouse cheats on the other it will never be the same. I am not going to start a relationship that was built on sand. I am open and I am honest simply put I dont fuck around I am a straight shooter. I am getting to old for bullshit drama games and lies. I am a forgiving man, as I forgave this girl but I stand firm on my beliefs. I want honesty not lies. Thats the fuckin problem with this world people lie to get what they want and if they have to piss on a few people to get it they will, I realize this isnt a utopia world we live in and that sometimes we have to chew the shit and smile but whatever happened to the fucking core values of our times.

i think some of y'all are being harsh to him. everyone has standards. why should you be forced to settle and date someone that you find unattractive? you don't have to be rude to someone because they are unattractive, but you should be happy with your partner and if they don't look good how are you happy? it's not like a tradeoff where you have to choose between personality or looks, you want someone who has both.

no, it is not wrong to want to be physically attracted to someone...but it is wrong to not like someone because of their features, someone who you said you liked....i stand by that if you really liked her, how she looked would not have mattered...i met my husband here, (who is several years younger and very good looking, fit, etc) in chat..the first time he saw me, he wasnt knocked off his feet, but it didnt matter because he liked who the person was INSIDE....we tend to see people differently when looking with our heart rather than our eyes....over time, he changed some things for me, i lost over 100 pounds for him, and now we are both HOT.............i think the lying about how she looked, is minor..the way you presented it, you deserved all the comments that were given..you came off very superficial..i am sorry you dont see it that way..people are what is inside my friend, our body is just a rental...i bet you are missing out on a lot of good women....
